A young white grizzly bear takes a drink from a refreshing Alaskan mountain stream. Although traditionally thought-of as brown-haired, grizzly bears actually come in a variety of fur colors. This adolescent bear has light-brown to white fur, lending it a unique look. White grizzly bears are physically and genetically no different from brown grizzly bears.
Rare polar bear/ grizzly bear hybrid bears do exist, but they have more differences than simple fur color.
