These twin grizzly bear cubs test the water in the Chilkoot River near Haines, Alaska. The Chilkoot River is created entirely by snowmelt. These cubs did not like that, as they tried to avoid getting wet as much as possible. You can see by the wet fur on their paws that these twin grizzlies have not been entirely successful at staying dry.
Right before this picture was taken, the bears spotted the photographer. This photo shows the bears posing for the photographer, looking directly at the camera.
