Sunrise Over the Alaskan Coastal Range

A glorious sunrise, photographed near Haines, Alaska. The sky over the Coast Mountains turns a fiery mix of colors every morning.

These mountains are part of an unbroken chain along the northern Pacific coast. They run from Alaska through the Yukon and British Columbia, all the way down to the border with Washington State.
