Puffin Rock – Grassy slopes along rocky islands are the favorite nesting grounds of the Atlantic Puffin in Newfoundland. Large groups will gather into colonies to dig their burrowed nests, lay a single egg and rear the young until its time to return to the Atlantic Ocean.
