Mesa Verde National Park in southwest Colorado is home to some of the best preserved archeological sites in the southwest. With more than 600 ancient cliff dwellings, it provides a rare look into the Ancestral Pueblo life and is a great example of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is wonderfully close to the Four Corners region allowing a variety of exploring in the area.
