This large brown bear stands on the banks of the McNeil River, looking for fish swimming under the surface. This bear is standing on the rocky beach instead of waiting in the water because the water in the McNeil river is frigid snowmelt. I bet it’s much more comfortable on the banks!
When it spots its prey, the bear will bite the fish in its jaws, take it back to the bank, and then us razor-sharp claws to tear the fish apart.
