Red eyed tree frog picture closeup of little one just hanging out. Many people think of frogs as hopping about. These semiarboreal amphibians actually walk hand over hand through the cloud forests of Costa Rica. In this photo, the details of how it climbs so easily are on display. Those sucker-like disks on its hands and feet allow this frog to climb and roam securely through the forest growth. Acting like suction cups, this frog can really stick around when it needs to. It can sleep on leaf-bottoms and scale entirely vertical forest plants. Wildlife photography image taken during our Costa Rica photo tours.
