Horned Puffins – Birds of Alaska

Of the numerous birds of Alaska, horned puffins are quite unique. They nest in large colonies among the rocky cliffs and coasts of Alaska. Seen here in this close up nature image are puffins relaxing on a rocky outcropping on Bird Island. Photo taken on Cook Inlet excursion.
