A group of bald eagles migrate to Alaska in the early winter for the last salmon spawn in North America. Almost all bald eagles move away from their nesting areas at some point. Although the term is commonly known as eagle migration, some biologists refer to the phenomenon as seasonal movements because the time of year plays a part in where they fly to find food to survive.
