A white-collared Grizzly Bear cub enjoys eating a huge salmon its mother brought to the shore. Young grizzly bear cubs such as this one rely on their mother for fish, as they are not large enough to go fishing. This young grizzly bear with white fur has torn its salmon in half in order to get at the meaty insides.
Young grizzly bears with white fur like this one quickly grow out of it. Grizzly bear cubs with white fur are extremely young spring cubs. Some older grizzly bears appear to have white fur. Although they are technically classified as brown bears, grizzlies can come in a variety of subtle fur colors.
