Grizzly Bear Cubs on the Chilkoot River near Haines Alaska

Two cute bear cubs watch their mother fish in the nearby river. These cuddly young spring cubs are too young to catch their own food, and thus must rely on their mother. These cute cubs spent a little while playing in the river before they decided that the Alaskan snowmelt was too cold for their tastes. The pair came to this log to dry out, while still being as close as possible to their mother.

These cute cubs are twins. They will spend almost every moment together for the next few years, as their mother teaches them the skills necessary to survive in the wilderness.
