The distinctive and distinguished Texas Green Jay, seen here carefully eating from a desert cactus. The Green Jay is one of the tool-using birds. Wild Green Jays have been observed using tools to extract and eat insects. Known as the Chara Verde in Spanish, this avian makes its home from Southern Texas to Venezuela.
