Bruarfoss Waterfall in Iceland

Iceland’s Bruarfoss Waterfall, where hundreds of waterfalls cascade into a blue stream. Moss and lichen cling to the damp rocks.

Bruarfoss is fed by the Bruara River, which in turn is fed by a melting glacier. Glacial melt takes on the characteristic blue shade seen here.
