A group of us observed this mother playing with her cubs in this meadow during a memorable day of the 2014 Shetzer’s Grizzly Bear Photography workshop. The workshop is a memorable opportunity to experience and photograph these big bears in a protected setting. Lake Clark National Park and Preserve in Alaska is one of the more isolated places in America. Workshop participants will fly into Lake Clark via a chartered Cessna plane and spend a week in real Alaskan backcountry, where bears and other wildlife roam free.
