The Chatter of Autumn – As fall comes to Alaska, the Bald Eagles migrate to feed off of rivers swollen with salmon. This special season occurs for only a few weeks every year, proving American Bald Eagles and Grizzly Bears with a feast unparalleled during any other time of year. Starting in early September, three thousand eagles migrate to this area near Haines, Alaska. Sightseers and native alike can hear their echoing cries and chatter up and down this region’s many long, winding rivers and waterfalls.
